What is NIDHI PRAYAS 2.0?
NIDHI PRAYAS 2.0 is a flagship programme by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, under the National Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovations (NIDHI). It supports individual innovators and early-stage startups in transforming ideas into validated, functional prototypes by providing financial assistance, mentorship, fabrication infrastructure, and technical guidance through a nationwide network of PRAYAS Centres (PCs) and Advance PRAYAS Centres (APCs), bridging the critical gap between ideation and commercialization.

Apply to a PRAYAS Centre
Submit your application during the centre's call-for-proposals window, as per DST's scheduled intervals.
Evaluation & Selection
Applications undergo a two-level evaluation assessing innovation, feasibility, and commercialization potential.
Grant Disbursement & Prototyping
Selected innovators (PRAYASEEs) receive funds in tranches over a 15-month project term to build and validate their prototype.
